Magnet offers you more than clinical services  throughout the week to keep your engine running. Depending on the day you'll find services such as acupuncture, massage, and mental health counseling, offered by local practitioners and partner agencies. All for free!

Acupuncture with Eric Kerr, M.S.O.M., L.Ac. 
Mondays, 3:00 - 5:00pm

Eric Kerr is a San Francisco based licensed acupuncturist, who uses a variety of Chinese Medicine techniques and modalities to treat a diverse population of patients. Eric is available for private and group acupuncture sessions at The Blue Buddha. His primary areas of specialty are anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, dermatology, Men's Health, & HIV/Immune Support.

Eric earned his Master of Science degree at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, California; and is a member of the California State Oriental Medical Association. As a practitioner of Chinese Medicine, Eric strives to be a resource for his patients and believes that acupuncture and Chinese Medicine should be accessible and affordable for all. Chair Massage with Bryan Harrelson

Want to talk to somebody about what's going on in your life? The Staff from the Stonewall Project, a sister program of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, are ready and able to listen. Call Magnet to schedule a 40-minute counseling session, for up to four sessions, on Wednesdays and alternating Friday's or Saturday's - bilingual in Spanish on Friday's or Saturday's. Drop-in or by appointment. We suggest appointments. You can make one by Magnet's front desk at (415) 581-1600.

The Stonewall Project is a counseling program dedicated to providing alternative harm reduction-based treatment to gay men, transmen who have sex with men, and other men who have sex with men with drug and/or alcohol concerns. We welcome participants at all stages of readiness, and we do not require abstinence to receive services. The goal of the Stonewall Project is to create a safe space where gay men and other men who have sex with men (MSM) who use crystal meth, crack cocaine, powder cocaine, alcohol and/or other drugs can come to deal with issues of concern to them without stipulations, conditions or judgment.

The Stonewall Project Provides a full range of counseling services that integrate substance use, mental health, and HIV from a participant-centered perspective. Besides the Stonewall services available at Magnet, free drop-in individual and group counseling services are available at the Stonewall main office, with no requirements or commitment.
